Remembering Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett

I woke up this morning hoping it was all a bad dream but as soon as I turned the computer on I was reminded it was very real. Two extremely talented and loved superstars gone in a blink of an eye.

We all were aware that Farrah Fawcett was battling cancer but it was still surreal that she has passed away. May she rest peacefully and my deepest condolences to all of those who love her dearly.

I will say that Michael Jackson's passing really took a toll on me because it was so unexpected and heck he was Michael Jackson, The King of Pop. So many of us grew up wearing a sparkly glove (on one hand of course), just about all of us had a M.J. jacket (I know I did) and then posters were all over our rooms. His music was so inspiring and invigorating along with his original dance moves that we all tried to copy.

I pray that Michael's family, friends and all of his fans across the world mourn peacefully. May he rest in peace.
