Health Matters

Boy, what a few weeks it has been! I can not express to y'all just how exhausted I have been lately. But through it all I am keeping my head up and remain to feel as blessed as always.

My last post was in regards to me going to Miami to bring my abuela back to Ohio to live with us so I may care for her. Well, that has been taken care of and she is with us, we arrived home this past Sunday and I have been busy since. She seems to being doing okay but I had to call 911 and have her brought to the ER the other day because I noticed something wasn't right. It turns out that my "motherly" instincts work on her too she had a bad urinary tract infection that could have become really dangerous to her health had she not gone to the hospital. Also, we have come to find out that since she has been bed ridden for so long that she now has blood clots in both of her lower legs.

I think once she gets some physical therapy things will be much better for her. With diabetes keeping active is a must especially with the elderly.

We all need to watch our health in all areas. Keep active, substitute that candy bar for some grapes (except when pms occurs of course!). Think about your future health what you do now will come back to haunt you in 30 - 40 years and most of the time it is too late by then. Keep your mind right and listen to your body.
-
I'm listening to mine right now saying I need to get some sleep. Good night y'all! We will talk again soon.

God Bless!

  1. Wow, you have been busy. You're right, it's so important to listen to your body and get the proper rest for good health. You've been going through so much so you need to listen to your own good advice!

  2. You are so right! I actually have spent this weekend resting more and trying to coax my OCD by not worrying so much about the house cleaning etc.

If I go down the whole house goes down! lol I am taking my advice and listening to my tired body : )
