Getting time to myself this week has been a real challenge. Life has been so hectic around here lately; kids been sick, running to the nursing home daily to check on Mima, taking care of all her personal business to assure nothing falls through the cracks (Medicare and etc.), trying to spend quality time with the kids, the house stuff , work and blah, blah, blah.

The list grows daily but I'm hanging in there with a smile because I know God believes I can handle it all so I am not going to doubt him. My very helpful husband is off this weekend so I'm sure (hint, hint-he reads the blog occasionally, lol) he will be more than willing to make sure this tired Momma gets a little time for HERSELF!

Once I do finally get my Theta Mom Thursday time for me I will definitely post about it. Hope the rest of my lovely blogging buddies got some time!
It does seem like a woman's work is never done.
ReplyDeleteHang in there!.
Thanks for the follow. I am now following you as well.
Something was TOTALLY in the water this week!!! At least we can laugh about it, right?! BTW, cute new profile picture. :) Thanks for trying and I just found you on twitter and following! :)

ReplyDeleteAs moms, we tend to put ourselves at the bottom of our to do list because we want to make sure that our loved ones needs and wants are met first. But if we don't take a time out, we can't be as efficient and productive as we want to be.
ReplyDeleteI love Time-Out Thursday because it makes me push myself harder to make the time for myself so I can share it with my blog friends!
Being a mom is tough at times but who else is gonna do it with as much love as we do!?
ReplyDeleteLove the comments, have a great day everyone
I have never heard of Theta Thursdays until I followed your blog what a cool idea. I am a military wife not much time to do a Theta night because a lot of times I am doing the single mother thing. I am now going to challenge myself to do something for myself even if its just a bath and a book once the kids are in the bed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow by the way.
