Still Blessed

It's been one of those weeks where you feel the load is so overbearing and you're about to collapse. Everything seems to be going wrong all at once. The kids have been acting up more than usual. Work has been stressing you out. There's so many repairs in the house that need done and there's no money to fix any of them. Everyone expects so much out of you. And to top it off this is just the short list of problems in life.

In case you are wondering, I am speaking on a personal level and also for those who have been feeling this weight for some time. Guess what, I am not going to allow any of it to break me down though. I know God has something great in store for me so I will wait patiently until it is my turn to receive. Although, I have to say that even through all my headaches lately in life I still feel blessed.

I am sad that this week I was not able to participate in Theta Mom Thursdays this week. I am hoping to squeeze in some time for me this weekend, even if I have to lock myself in the bathroom, lol. Big Shot Out to Heather at Theta Mom, she is a terrific lady!

  2. Sometimes it's tough to remember (especially when multiple bad things happen right in a row!) that God always has our best interests at heart. Thanks for the encouraging reminder!

  3. Once upon a time while going through a similarly hard time someone posted the following quote from Dame Julian of Norwich for me.

    It goes:

“All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.”

And it was as it will be for you too.
